Fall lip haul

When it comes to this time of the year I put my pinķs and orange lipsticks to one side and reach for nude or berry tone lips. The three I mainly reach for are rimmel kate moss in 01 a classic red, 107 a berry toned red and maybeline colour sensational in midnight plum which is purple with a touch of shimmer.

So when the weather showed signs of changing to autumn I took advantage to add a few new colours to my range( I may have gotten carried away). Some I think I will reach for more than others.

Swatches from the 7 I bought.

L'oréal- Naomi's delicate rose.
This very pale pinky nude is great for all year round especially if you have more dramatic eye make up. This is a silky texture that won't cling to any dry patches on your lips.
£6.99

Rimmel - 43 -kate moss.
This warm brown nude is the easiest colour just to put on your lips. The moisturising qualities make it nice to wear and it's one i've been reaching for over the last few weeks.
£5.49

L'oréal -229 cliché mania.
This matte consistency lipstick is anything but drying. This orangey red tone stays put although some touch ups may be needed by the evening. This tone is a nice transitional colour between summer and autum and definitely one i see myself wearing a lot.
£6.99

Collection- matt lip butter - crimson velvet.
This lip crayon is easy to apply with no need for a lip liner. The colour dries to matte in seconds and feels comfortable. The only bad point is that this lip butter needs topping up after eating.
£2.99

Collection -lip butter- perfect plum.
Unlike the other lip butter this one is not matte and leaves a lovely shine to the lip. I find this is an easy purple to wear and will look great at seasonal parties.
£2.99

L'oréal -462- préliminaire.
This dark gothic purple takes a little work. I would suggest lining the lips with a brush before applying from the bullet. Although once on this colour looks fab. I haven't yet worn this outside the house so don't know how it wears.
£6.99

MUA- lipliner - brooding plum.
This lip liner is the perfect berry tone. I always wear a lipliner all over my lips when i find the right colour. This isn't a drying formula and is great value for money.
£1

As autum goes by I will see if any make it into my staple lip colours.
Which lip product are you reaching for this season?
Let me know if I need to add any.

Until next time ... x
